Key Responsibilities:

  • Processes residential loan applications and complete servicing with required banks and lenders to determine borrowing capacity and whether they qualify for a loan.
  • Work with various lenders to find the best deal for a client
  • Evaluate pay slips, credit history, tax information and bank statements for financial status.
  • Work to ensure compliance with banking and or finance laws in the jurisdiction of the client
  • Order valuation
  • Ensures the timely and accurate packaging of all loans originated by our broker
  • Inputs correct information on the system for processing and submits the applications to lender
  • Follows through with lenders and clients to make sure that the loan gets approved and settles on time
  • Requests payments for progress draw claims
  • Processes loan restructuring requests

  • Uses Microsoft Office, Adobe, Salestrekker, ApplyOnline, Equifax, RPdata, Property Hub.

  • Pre-assessment/Assessment of deals - Data entry, document checks, serviceability

  • Preparation of loan proposal and application - Document generation, ApplyOnline, list of outstanding documents
  • Lodgement and submission of loan applications and supporting documents
  • Communication with Lender, BDM, clients, Solicitors for status updates and progress
  • Post Settlement - Closing of files, updating of financial position, follow ups

Key Requirements and Desired Attributes:

  • Relevant experience for working in Australian lending
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to suggest process improvements.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and collaborate with teams while maintaining accountability and accuracy.
