Product Designer Job Description

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.

  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.

  • Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and translate them into design solutions.

  • Iterate designs based on user feedback and analytics.

  • Advocate for user needs and ensure accessibility standards are met.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5-7 years of experience in product, UX, or interaction design.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process and end-to-end product design.

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Solid understanding of UX principles, user research methods, and accessibility guidelines.

  • Experience working in agile or iterative product development environments.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
