Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Logistics Assistant Manager, this role is responsible for supporting effective asset and inventory management across the organization. The position ensures company resources are accurately tracked, properly maintained, and available when needed. It also contributes to the daily operations of the General Services team by coordinating logistics activities, improving workflows, and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory and Asset Management

Oversees the receipt, distribution, and monitoring of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to internal users while maintaining cost control and quality standards.

Coordination with Vendors and Internal Teams

Collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to support sourcing, material qualification, purchasing, and delivery arrangements aligned with operational needs.

Task and Initiative Ownership

Manages assigned projects and operational tasks by following established procedures, schedules, and service standards to ensure accurate and timely completion.

Records Management and Reporting

Maintains complete and well-organized documentation, including asset registers, reconciliation reports, and accountability records, in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.

Process Improvement and Control

Supports the enhancement of logistics processes and internal controls to protect company assets and ensure proper documentation, monitoring, and maintenance.

Asset Disposal and Compliance

Coordinates asset disposal activities in line with Environmental Management System (EMS) guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.

Insurance Coordination

Monitors asset and property insurance timelines, ensures timely renewals, and validates the accuracy of asset data submitted for insurance purposes.

Team Support and Supervision

Provides day-to-day guidance and operational support to team members, helping improve performance, knowledge, and adherence to procedures.

General Logistics Support

Assists with broader logistics and general services functions, working closely with colleagues to meet departmental goals and organizational priorities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in logistics, inventory control, asset management, or supply chain operations.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or similar capacity.
  • Experience in the BPO industry is considered an advantage.
