About the role

As a QA/QC Analyst at CM & SONS FOOD PRODUCTS INC. (Merzci), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. This full-time position is based in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, and will see you contributing to the overall efficiency and excellence of our manufacturing and quality control processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing in-process and final inspections to monitor product quality and compliance with established standards
  2. Conducting various tests and analyses on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products
  3. Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all quality control activities and findings
  4. Identifying and investigating quality issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  5. Collaborating with production and other teams to resolve quality-related concerns
  6. Providing quality-related training and guidance to production staff
  7. Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in quality assurance and control

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the food manufacturing industry
  3. Proficient in conducting various quality control tests and analyses
  4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve quality issues
  5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  7. Familiarity with relevant food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, etc.)
