About the role

As a Medical Technologist at St. Vincent General Hospital Cebu, Inc., you will play a crucial role in supporting the hospital's clinical and medical research efforts. What you'll be doing

  • Performing a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses to support the hospital's clinical and research needs
  • Collecting, processing, and analyzing biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissue specimens
  • Interpreting test results and providing accurate and timely reporting to medical staff
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of laboratory activities
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols and quality control procedures
  • Collaborating with the clinical and research teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Continuously learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical laboratory technology and practices

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field
  • Registered Medical Technologist license or certification
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting
  • Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and software
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and reliable records
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical professionals
