About the Role

We are looking for seasoned Business Development Managers with 10+ years of experience in enterprise software and IT services sales to help elevate our Value-Added Distribution (VAD) model to the next level. These leaders will be instrumental in developing country-specific business growth strategies while serving as Confluent-focused sales champions.

Skills

  • 10+ years' experience
    in enterprise IT solution/services sales with proven quota achievement.
  • Strong
    end-customer sales experience
    across BFSI and Telecom (mandatory).
  • Track record of handling
    European accounts or global enterprise software portfolios
    a strong advantage.
  • Exposure to
    streaming/data integration technologies
    and digital transformation-led sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise software sales with a focus on data/streaming/integration (Kafka, ESB, MQ, iPaaS, databases, analytics, observability). Streaming use-cases (real-time customer 360, payments/fraud, CDC, microservices modernization, mainframe/offload, IoT/telemetry) across BFSI, telecom, manufacturing, and digital-native enterprises.
  • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, tailored demos, proposals, and enterprise negotiations.
  • Manage and grow strategic accounts, ensuring renewals, expansions, and long-term adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with decision makers and influencers—both business leaders (CIO, CTO, CDO) and technical stakeholders (IT Architects, Data Engineers, Middleware leads).
