Senior Product Manager – Transaction Monitoring

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager
with hands-on experience building or managing
transaction monitoring, AML/CFT, or compliance platforms
—preferably within
crypto, fintech, digital asset exchanges, or regtech
. If you've shipped risk or compliance products before, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Product Ownership:
    Lead the end-to-end vision, roadmap, and delivery of our in-house transaction monitoring platform.
  • Requirements Gathering:
    Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Data, and Engineering teams to define detection rules, workflows, reporting features, and system capabilities.
  • Regulatory Alignment:
    Ensure the platform complies with global AML/CFT standards and evolves with regulatory updates.
  • Rule & Model Development:
    Work with Data Science and Engineering to design scenarios, thresholds, and risk models for detecting suspicious transactions.
  • Case Management Integration:
    Build efficient investigation workflows, including audit trails, escalation paths, and SAR/STR templates.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Own KPIs such as false positive rate, detection accuracy, and case resolution time to guide continuous improvements.
  • Vendor & Tool Evaluation:
    Assess third-party providers, blockchain analytics tools, and data sources to enhance monitoring capabilities.
  • User Experience Design:
    Ensure compliance teams have intuitive dashboards, actionable alerts, and efficient case-handling tools.
  • Project Delivery:
    Partner closely with Engineering to prioritize features and ensure timely, high-quality releases.

What We Expect From You

  • Direct experience owning or building similar products
    —transaction monitoring, AML engines, fraud detection, case management, or compliance tools
  • Background in crypto, fintech, regtech, banking, or digital asset platforms is required
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience in a high-compliance or risk-driven environment
  • Solid understanding of AML/CFT regulations, suspicious activity typologies, and investigation workflows
  • Familiarity with blockchain analytics providers
    (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic) and crypto transaction patterns
  • Ability to translate compliance requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable interpreting data, KPIs, and rule performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Understanding of case management systems and alert triage best practices
  • Knowledge of
    on-chain vs. off-chain transaction flows
    within crypto ecosystems
