Super Candy Corporation is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accurate financial reporting. What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  3. Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes
  4. Conducting financial audits and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies
  5. Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
  6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial information
  7. Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implementing necessary adjustments

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification
  3. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Accountant role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
  4. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations
  5. Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  7. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  8. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
