JOB SUMMARY
Accountable for carrying out the human resources policies and programs of the Company by providing support activities to several of the following functions: compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee development, records management, human resources planning, and records keeping. May provide support to other functional areas such as employee and/or labor relations, employment equity and affirmative action programs. Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements and ensures that the wage order and other government regulations are properly carried out according to the approved implementing guidelines.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives, policies and systems.
Process all personnel requisitions submitted by the department heads, ensuring such requests are included in the Department's Table of Organization and budget duly approved by the department head and HR and thereby avoid excess in manpower.
Facilitates selection and staffing process in the areas of but not limited to posting job advertisements and fair, reviewing resumes, performing initial interviews, assessments and reference checks, pre-employment requirements, preparation of job offers, letters, announcements and integration.
Facilitates HR process for resigning, retiring, terminated, or separated employees and other employee movements.
Conducts monthly manpower audit of all workers of the company.
Communicates guidelines and policy to ensure compliance to Performance Management System. Maintains records of employee appraisals and individual development plans.
Co-ordinates and prepares employee training and other educational programs. Responsibilities may include the following: development of course materials, organizing and scheduling course registrations, training facilities and equipment. May deliver training programs. Maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness of programs.
Facilitates process and documentation necessary for the employees to avail benefits from SSS, Pag-Ibig, PhilHealth, HMO, and other company benefits following the existing regulations/implementing guidelines issued by the company and said agencies.
Acts as liaison between the company and other agencies concerned with employee welfare (SSS, ECC, Pag-Ibig etc).
Prepare and submit reports/documents to the following:
BIR – Forms 2305/1902 of newly-hired employees, change of status/additional/change of dependents.
DOLE – Every first Wednesday of the month (resigned employees/terminated employees).
Prepares the summary of personnel information (e.g. attendance, tardiness, availment of VL & SL etc.) prior to cut-off date for payroll preparation.
Prepares the summary of payroll entry every cut-off
Prepares the monthly schedules of SSS, Philhealth, Pagibig, SSS Salary/Calamity Loans, Pagibig Shortterm/Calamity Loans.
Maintain and update Human Resource Information System records such as 201 files and compiles reports from database and other HRMD Files such as Company Policies and Procedures, Insurance Records etc.
Assist in the development and implementation of employee surveys, focus group discussions, and forums to gather feedback from employees to address concerns and achieve company over all objectives.
Oversees special events for staff by coordinating committees and schedules, and staying within budget.
Performs immediate and timely actions to address employee's concerns and problems.
Performs duties/works which may be assigned provided the relevant and necessary orientation/or training is carried out.
