About this role. . .

We are seeking a Graduate Auditor to join our dynamic audit team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 year of Australian audit experience, including internships. You will assist in performing audit procedures, preparing documentation, and supporting senior auditors in delivering high-quality audit services to clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and gain exposure to diverse industries while working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards.
  • Perform audit testing, including substantive and control testing, and document findings accurately.
  • Prepare and maintain audit workpapers and ensure compliance with firm methodology.
  • Support senior auditors in identifying and resolving audit issues.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements in line with AASB and IFRS standards.
  • Utilize audit software (e.g., CaseWare, MYOB Audit) for documentation and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of audit tasks.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards throughout the audit process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 0-1 year of Australian audit experience (internships acceptable).
  • Familiarity with audit methodology and work papers.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting standards (AASB/IFRS).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Awareness of audit software such as CaseWare, MYOB Audit, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
