Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our team and support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our data infrastructure. This role will assist in building and maintaining ETL pipelines, working with business intelligence tools, and supporting cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of ETL pipelines.
  • Support the administration and troubleshooting of data integration and visualization tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, SAP BODS, SSIS, Tableau).
  • Work with SQL databases (Oracle, Databricks, Teradata, SQL Server) to extract, transform, and load data.
  • Help maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Assist with cloud data solutions in AWS or Azure environments.
  • Participate in data governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related issues and improve processes.
  • Document processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Stay updated on new ETL, BI, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts and tools (exposure to Informatica, SSIS, or similar preferred).
  • Knowledge of at least one BI or data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the data engineering field.
