About the role

Granexport Manufacturing Corporation is seeking an Accounting Specialist Assistant to join our team in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial accounting and reporting functions. As part of our dynamic and growing organisation, you will contribute to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Accounting Specialist in the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis
  2. Responsible for accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
  3. Provide administrative support to the Accounting department, including filing, data entry and research
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate financial information
  5. Adhere to all relevant accounting standards, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with colleagues across the organisation
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
