Sales Associate/Customer Service Representative

Location: RS Building, Sta. Ana Ave, Poblacion District, Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. When hired, you will assist customers in selecting hardware and construction materials, provide accurate product information, and support store operations to ensure an efficient and professional buying experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, including homeowners, contractors, and local businesses.
  • Recommend appropriate construction materials such as cement, steel bars, lumber, plumbing, and many others.
  • Prepare quotations, sales invoices, and handle POS or manual transactions.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/bodega personnel for stock replenishment and customer orders.
  • Assist in inventory monitoring, receiving deliveries, and reporting low or damaged stock.
  • Build positive relationships with customers and provide after-sales support when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • Senior High School graduate or College level; related technical or vocational training is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in hardware or construction supply sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills for pricing, measurements, and quotations.
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items when required.
  • Honest, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
