JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for planning and executing sports events, campaigns, and grassroots activations that promote the ASICS brand in the Philippines, with a focus on the performance running industry. This role focuses on building strong partnerships with athletes, coaches, and sports organizations while ensuring impactful advertising and brand visibility at sporting events. Additionally, it involves scouting emerging talent, managing sponsorships, and aligning marketing initiatives with brand objectives to strengthen ASICS' presence in the sports community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Propose, plan, and execute sports events, promotions, and campaigns to influence consumer purchasing decisions.

·       Organize training clinics, product trials, and grassroots activations with athletes, coaches, and academies.

·       Coordinate with coaches and pacers and initiate cross-collaboration across our regional team for the successful activation of the weekly ASICS Running Club (ARC), while also attending to ensure everything is running smoothly.

·       Manage athlete relationships and contracts, appearances, retail promotions, and sponsorship events to align with marketing goals.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, coaches, academies, associations, and other sports partners.

·       Scout rising stars and talent through regional games and platforms, leveraging networks for referrals and collaborations.

·       Maintain regular communication with program partners, sales teams, and key accounts to ensure commitments are met and align with marketing objectives.

·       Coordinate product seeding with key athletes quarterly, ensuring campaign products are well-represented and leveraged for content creation.

·       Collaborate with operations, marketing, PR, and retail teams to activate events such as product launches and in-game promotions.

·       Track athletes' performance at local and regional games and engage them on key milestones with personalized initiatives.

·       Manage local sponsorship programs, including the design and delivery of branded assets such as jerseys for major games.

·       Secure venue brandings with academies, associations, and venue owners to enhance grassroots visibility.

·       Actively monitor local and regional sports platforms for trending conversations, emerging talent, and sponsorship opportunities.

·       Provide insights on sports marketing trends and competitor activities to refine strategies.

·       Prepare and compile reports on athlete engagement, event outcomes, and grassroots activations for internal stakeholders.

·       Manage inventory, marketing stock, and facilitate vendor payments as part of operational duties.
