Job Purpose:
The Cadet Engineer Program is designed to develop young engineering professionals into future leaders of the organization. Through intensive training, mentoring, and rotational assignments across key business units, cadet engineers will gain the technical, managerial, and leadership skills required to take on critical management roles in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in structured training programs covering technical, operational, and leadership competencies.
- Undergo assignments in
all disciplines of engineering, such as Construction, Product Development, Research & Development, Design & Engineering, Maintenance, Project Engineering, and others
to gain holistic exposure. - Assist in analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing engineering solutions to optimize productivity, efficiency, and safety.
- Support senior engineers and managers in strategic projects, data analysis, and decision-making processes.
- Engage in leadership development initiatives such as team management, project ownership, and process innovation.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project proposals that contribute to operational excellence.
- Demonstrate initiative and adaptability in handling assignments aligned with succession planning objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, or related fields). - Experience:
Fresh graduates or those with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership potential with a drive for continuous learning and growth.
- Willingness to undergo rotational assignments across various departments.
