Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed below. These duties may be reasonably varied by the company in consultation with you during your employment. To achieve optimal outcomes for the business, you may occasionally be required to perform tasks outside of your position description. If you are ever unsure about what is required, please seek clarification from your direct manager or People & Culture.
Vendor Relationship
- Prepare quarterly marketing plans by vendor that ensure all company and vendor objectives are met.
- Review any issues, opportunities and plans with the Vendor on a regular basis.
- Make sure that a good vendor relationship is maintained at all times by meeting all vendor expectations.
- Maintain vendor contact and company information in CRM.
- Review pricing structure and margins to maintain competitive pricing.
Marketing
- Work with Marketing to ensure relevant products or lines are promoted appropriately.
- Assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns - review at the end of each quarter and update Marketing database.
- Update all promotions and events in the Promotions Database.
- Work with Product manager to prepare a business plan for each vendor and review regularly to assess progress.
- Work with vendor to ensure market share percentages are provided.
Stock Management
- Ensure the correct stock is ordered and the correct quantities maintained.
- Review stock in all warehouses on a daily basis.
- Ensure there is the right mix of stock available - measure this by Fill Rates.
- Manage stock over 90 days and work with vendor to receive RMA numbers for Faulty, Discontinued and Stock Balancing rotations.
- Stock management with unsold stock with Warehouse 14.
- Work with vendors to move non selling items and negotiate for exception returns where necessary.
Communication
- Engage with company staff at relevant levels to communicate with the vendor.
- Work with all company management to identify and optimise any opportunities and to prevent or resolve any product-related issues.
- Communicate vendor promotions, initiatives, training, and operational changes to all departments.
- Overall, ensure the optimum sales and streamlined management of the entire product range within responsibility.
Pricing
- Ensure correct products are priced correctly in system.
- Set base margins for each product line.
- Conduct a price analysis on a regular basis and filter any recommendations back to the product managers / Business Unit manager.
Customer Service
- Resolve customer order issues by working with the Sales and Customer Service departments.
- Check marketing workbench daily and resolve issues as required.
- Ensure Pre Sales have access to technical product information and technical resources within the vendor.
- Make available all appropriate sales tools and information to the National Sales team.
Sales Focus
- Monitor all business activities for their product range to ensure that targets and objective are achieved.
- Work with vendor to ensure market share percentages are provided.
- Liaise with the vendor and Sales to organise any required training.
- Update vendor market shares into the marketing database.
Product Information
- Maintain all product information in pronto, website, library, and promotions database.
- Ensure information is current and accurate.
Training
- Work with Product manager to provide regular training to Sales department.
- Provide training to operational departments on operational processes and systems.
Other
- Take all reasonably practicable steps to maintain the health and safety of yourself and others, and to minimise risks.
- Follow company policies, procedures and reasonable instructions at all times.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Relationship building and skills.
- Proactive orientation.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Able to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
- Intermediate MS Office proficiency.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Manila Time
