POSITION OVERVIEW

The
Printing Head
oversees the printing operations for plastic woven sacks using
Flexographic and Rotogravure (Roto) printing
. The role ensures high-quality output, continuous workflow, and compliance with manufacturing standards. This position supervises
two shift supervisors
, manages daily performance, and drives improvements in productivity and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Operational Management

• Lead and supervise daily operations of Flexo and Roto printing lines.
• Ensure production targets and schedules are met with consistent quality.
• Check machine setup, color matching, ink viscosity, and print registration.
• Manage raw material usage (inks, solvents, plates/cylinders) to minimize waste.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment issues and preventive maintenance.

B. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise and mentor
  two (2) shift supervisors
  overseeing printing shifts.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to operators.
• Manage staffing and shift assignments.
• Enforce safety and compliance policies in the printing area.

C. Performance Management & Monitoring

• Track and analyze KPIs such as:
• Machine efficiency and uptime
• Print quality metrics
• Waste levels
• Shift output
• Conduct performance reviews and create improvement plans.
• Prepare production and performance reports for management.

D. Quality Assurance

• Ensure all printed outputs meet customer and quality specifications.
• Approve first-off samples before mass production.
• Implement corrective actions for recurring print issues.

E. Process Improvement

• Recommend and implement productivity and process improvements.
• Assist in new printing developments, design changes, and sample testing.
• Collaborate with Planning, QA, and Maintenance for smooth operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Preferably a degree or diploma in Industrial Technology, Engineering, or related technical course.

Experience:

• 3–5 years experience
  in
  Flexographic and/or Rotogravure printing
  , ideally in
  plastic woven sack
  or packaging manufacturing.
• Supervisory experience
  managing printing operations or shift leaders.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in:
• Flexo and Rotogravure printing
• Ink mixing, viscosity control, and color matching
• Plate/cylinder setup
• Troubleshooting print defects
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S is an advantage.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and reporting abilities.
• Detail-oriented and analytical.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Manufacturing plant located in
  Bulacan
  .
• Requires onsite presence with coordination across multiple shifts.
• Exposure to noise, machines, inks, and solvents; PPE provided.
