Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, and budgets across various project types including residential, commercial, and infrastructure.
  • Analyze and optimize project costs through benchmarking and value engineering to enhance development viability.
  • Evaluate civil, structural, architectural, and MEPF plans, bid proposals, shop drawings, and change orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage costs for enabling works, utilities, roadworks, and site infrastructure; conduct inspections and ensure quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with design consultants during both design and construction phases, and prepare in-house structural designs, if required.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a Licensed Civil Engineer.
  • Has at least ten (10) years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within a developer, cost consultancy, or general contractor environment.
  • Has experience across residential, commercial, and infrastructure/land development projects.
  • Strong knowledge of cost planning, and post-contract management.
  • Proficient in cost management software, including Advance Computer Aided Design and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
