We are looking for an experienced SMSF Compliance Accountant who can manage full end-to-end Self-Managed Super Fund accounting and reporting for Australian clients. The ideal candidate has practical experience using SMSF administration software such as Class, BGL Simple Fund 360, or similar platforms, and understands the requirements of the ATO and Australian superannuation regulations.

Salary Range: Php 70, ,000

Work Set-Up: Work onsite | Mon-Fri | 6:00am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalise annual financial statements and SMSF income tax returns in line with ATO and ASIC requirements
  • Work within Class, BGL, or equivalent systems to maintain SMSF client files, process transactions, and generate accurate reports
  • Handle year-end activities including bank, investment, income, and expense reconciliations
  • Coordinate with auditors by providing clear workpapers and responding to audit requests
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with superannuation legislation, contributions rules, pension standards, and ATO guidelines
  • Support trustees with queries on fund strategies, pensions, contributions, and required minimum drawdowns
  • Stay updated on regulatory and legislative changes that impact SMSFs
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal documentation
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 23 years of experience in SMSF accounting within an Australian firm
  • Experience using Class, BGL Simple Fund 360, SuperMate, or similar SMSF admin platforms
  • Strong knowledge of ATO rules, SMSF compliance, and superannuation standards
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting tools like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to manage deadlines effectively
