About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong bookkeeping background who enjoys working with numbers and data to provide meaningful insights.

You'll handle day-to-day accounting tasks while supporting management reporting, analysis, and decision-making.

If you have a head for numbers, an eye for patterns, and enjoy understanding why things happen in the business — not just recording them — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Prepare month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with preparing management reports and dashboards
  • Analyse variances between actual and budgeted results and identify key trends
  • Support budgeting and forecasting through data collection and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with BAS, payroll tax, and other reporting requirements
  • Needs understanding of Australian, US and UK accounting rules
  • Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting / Bookkeeping (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — ability to interpret financial data and spot trends
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in accounting software XERO and Microsoft Excel
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and general ledger operations
  • Organised, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Must be fluent in English

Work Schedule

5am to 2pm Manila 

Work Location

Homebased but can consider Hybrid, Either Eastwood, SM North, Alabang, Pampanga or Cebu Office

Willing to work onsite at least 2-3x per week
