Auditor

Job Description

  • Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings
  • Appraises adequacy of internal control systems by completing audit questionnaires
  • Maintains internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires and recommending new policies and procedures
  • Communicates audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with the audit partner
  • Complies with state and local security legal requirements by studying existing and new security legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
  • Prepares special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and content, and participating in professional societies
  • Assist with special projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or in a related field. Not required to have a CPA accreditation
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working as an auditor for AU
  • With CaseWare
  • Best to have experience in leading end to end audit engagement
  • Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus but open to any auditing industry experience
  • Proficiency in integrated audit management software
  • Financially literate, has knowledge of accounting standards and fiscal procedures
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Great analytical and problem-solving abilities
