ESG & Sustainability Specialist

Location: Uptown Eastgate, BGC, Taguig, Metro Manila (hybrid)

About the Role

The ideal candidate must have at least
2 years of experience in corporate sustainability
within a private sector firm. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of
climate data specialists
, while reporting directly to the
Head of ESG & Sustainability
and the
Chief Product Officer
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Articulate an ESG strategy that is directly tied to the business' strategies and goals
  • Develop and execute corporate sustainability initiatives and strategies
  • Drive program management and change management strategies related to business initiatives/processes
  • Prepare annual ESG/Sustainability reports aligned with
    GRI, TCFD, CDP, UN SDGs
    , and the
    SASB
    reporting methodology
  • Administer Komunidad's
    ESG & Sustainability Suite
    for data collection using
    UNFCCC
    ,
    GHG Protocol
    , and other greenhouse gas emission standards
  • Maintain documentation of processes and procedures related to data collection, verification, and audit
  • Act as a trusted sustainability advisor to data providers—supporting them during data submissions, audits, and audit remediation
  • Identify and recommend technology and process improvements for ESG data management, verification, and audit readiness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Sustainability, Environmental Science, Accounting, Engineering
    , or related field
  • Minimum
    2 years of experience
    in corporate sustainability
  • Strong knowledge of global sustainability standards and frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, UN SDGs, etc.)
  • Proficiency or working knowledge in
    Greenhouse Gas Accounting
    and
    Carbon Emissions tracking
  • Experience in designing or enhancing ESG programs
  • Consulting background in ESG/sustainability is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong team collaboration skills within a cross-functional and matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
