What you'll be doing

  1. Efficiently processing customer transactions and managing cash, debit and credit payments
  2. Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked checkout area
  3. Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  4. Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
  5. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  6. Collaborating with the retail team to create a welcoming and engaging store environment

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience as a Cashier or Retail Assistant, preferably in the petroleum or convenience store industry
  2. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  3. Strong numeracy and cash handling skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions
  4. Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  6. Commitment to maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented store
  7. Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
