Job Summary

  • Accurately process cash and non-cash transactions.
  • Enter purchases into the register/POS and issue receipts.
  • Handle cash, give correct change, and maintain adequate change in the drawer.
  • Ensure all payments are properly recorded and documented.
  • Follow cash-drop procedures and maintain accurate cash-handling records.
  • Prepare cash reports, balance the drawer, and note any discrepancies.
  • Train new cashiers when needed.
  • Keep the cashier booth clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Avoid shortages and conduct dipstick readings to monitor inventory.
  • Receive fuel deliveries in the supervisor's absence.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Station Supervisor.

Requirements

  • At least college level or high school graduate/equivalent.
  • Petroleum industry and POS experience preferred.
  • Willing to undergo training.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Honest, responsible, and hardworking.
  • Available to start immediately.
