Location: Quezon City, Philippines

Overview

White Cloak Technologies is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, highly analytical, and eager to deliver scalable data solutions that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
  • Implement data models and structures to support analytics and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data requirements
  • Develop and maintain data warehouse and data lake solutions
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure accuracy and integrity of data processes
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval for efficient processing
  • Stay updated on industry trends and apply best practices in data engineering
  • Train and mentor junior data engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes (Informatica, Talend, etc.)
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
