About the Role

Our firm values precision, collaboration, and professionalism. As part of our team, you'll work closely with audit leaders and audit specialists.

We are a US-based audit firm owned and managed by former big four professionals, seeking a detail-oriented Assurance Reporting Specialist to ensure the highest quality in our client-deliverables. In this role, you will serve as the final quality gatekeeper for financial statements and all publish-to-client documents. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the firm's professional reputation and client trust.

Core Responsibilities

· Review and proofread financial statements and all publish-to-client documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.

· Ensure consistency in formatting, numbering, headings, and cross-references in accordance with the firm's style guide including verifying captions, dates, and note references for accuracy and alignment throughout the document.

· Review tables and schedules for visual clarity, alignment, and proper labeling.

· Maintain and update the Financial Statements Style & Formatting Guide.

Other Responsibilities

· Create, maintain, and update templates for financial statements and related audit documents on a recurring basis.

· Apply firm-approved templates and advanced formatting styles to draft reports.

· Manage version control to ensure the correct draft is finalized and issued.

· Assist in creating marketing materials for the firm, ensuring they meet branding and style standards.

What Will Make You Stand Out

· Having previous work experience working with structured documents, preferably, but not limited to:

o Experience working with corporate or audit-related documents in a quality review capacity, or prior experience in audit support, corporate communications, or quality assurance role involving professional report review.

o As a legal assistant or paralegal, particularly with experience in reviewing legal documents for formatting, accuracy, and compliance, or;

o Having previously worked in a publishing company with direct involvement in editing teams or collaboration with editors.

· Proven ability to spot inconsistencies in both language and formatting under tight deadlines.

· Strong eye for design and presentation, ensuring reports are visually professional and consistent.

· Openness to be trained in financial statement structure, audit report formats, and industry-specific style guidelines.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.

· Minimum 2 years' experience in proofreading or document quality review.

· Excellent command of English grammar and business writing style.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Familiarity with financial statement structure preferred (training provided).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint advanced features, including styles, automated tables of contents, and cross-references.

· Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing multiple deadlines.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php Php280.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
