Job Role: Senior Creative Strategist (Ecom Ads) (Remote) 

Salary Budget: $2400-$3300 AUD per month

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the EURO business hours for collaboration, but as a contractor, you'll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St we help Australian companies directly hire top 5% remote talent in the Philippines. You will be hired directly by the client, typically as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. 

Who The Client Is: 

A boutique, performance-first agency that partners exclusively with high‑growth eCommerce brands, specializing in Google & YouTube advertising.

Role Overview: 

You're the brain behind the angle. Your job is to take a product, find its edge, and shape the creative direction of the ad — from the hook to the visual concept. You're not here to edit videos or write copy, but your input will directly influence both. You'll work closely with our performance marketers and creative team to make sure what gets produced actually hits.

If you've got a knack for spotting what makes people click "buy" — and can turn that into scroll-stopping ideas — you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative strategies and concepts for Ecom ads that convert
  • Come up with hooks, angles, and visual ideas that speak to the product's core value
  • Collaborate with performance and creatives team to bring vision to life
  • Review and analyze performance data to refine ideas and improve future ads
  • Stay plugged into trends, competitor ads, and cultural moments to help shape content that cuts through the noise

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Creative Strategist (Ecom Ads) 
  • Strong creative thinking with a performance-first mindset
  • Experience working on DTC or e-commerce brands (preferred)
  • Comfortable pitching ideas and explaining the "why" behind your direction
  • Strategic thinker who understands the psychology of online buying behavior
  • Clear communicator who enjoys working with a team to bring ideas to life

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours as decided by the client
  • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
