About the role

Alexis Realty Tried And True is seeking an experienced Project Site Engineer to join our team in City Proper, Iloilo City, Iloilo. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations at our construction site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinating and monitoring the work of construction workers, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of the project
  2. Conducting regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise
  3. Interpreting and implementing project drawings, specifications and engineering plans
  4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and environmental standards
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of the project's progress, including daily reports, progress logs and quality control data
  6. Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team, as needed
  7. Collaborating with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or changes to the project scope

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Site Engineer or in a similar role
  3. Strong working knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and equipment
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprints
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team
  7. Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements
