We are looking for a courteous and detail-oriented Cashier to manage guest payments and billing processes at the front desk or service outlets. The role involves handling financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a smooth and professional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process guest check-ins/check-outs and ensure accurate billing of services.
  • Handle payments via cash, card, or room charges.
  • Issue receipts, invoices, and refunds as needed.
  • Maintain an accurate and balanced cash drawer at all times.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all guest charges are correctly posted.
  • Resolve billing queries or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Support with currency exchanges, bill adjustments, or discounts as per policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of guest financial data.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and financial control protocols.
  • Report any irregularities or system issues to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a background in accounting or hospitality is a plus.
  • Prior cashiering or front desk experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Honest, punctual, and well-organized.
