The Application Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of BAYAD's Production Service platforms and applications. This role ensures stability, availability, and optimal performance of critical systems by proactively overseeing application health, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary upgrades or enhancements. The specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business units, to identify and address system inefficiencies, support deployment activities, and optimize application workflows. Additionally, they play a key role in incident management, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures to enhance system reliability and minimize downtime.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in application management, IT support, or system administration.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Experience with application monitoring tools, such as New Relic, Dynatrace, or Splunk.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle), APIs, and middleware technologies.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cloud-based application management (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Certification in ITIL, Microsoft, AWS, or relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting) for automation.
