EHS Engineer

• Provide technical assistance in completing reports and permit applications for government agencies, internal and external customers
• Interface with management at all levels regarding environment, health and safety evaluations and control methods
• Establish and implement environmental compliance programs
• Establish and implement safety compliance programs thereby promoting a safe and healthful work practices for the protection of personnel, physical assets and production operations
• Establish and implement full scope industrial hygiene programs to prevent occupational disease
• Prepare internal audit or inspection plan/program and conducts internal EHS MS audits and inspections
• Ensure compliance with applicable EHS legal and other requirements
• Conduct EHS buy-offs, audits, and workplace surveys
• Perform liaison work with the government agencies
• Secure government permits and prepares required reports
• Ensure execution of EHS required trainings
• Perform the duties of a Safety Man/Officer as per rule 1040 of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards
• Coordinate product, non-product scrap and solid wastes hauling schedule
• Ensure crushing equipment, forklifts, weighing scales, ovens are maintained as schedule and are kept in good working condition
• Develop waste disposal procedures
• Document or keep records related to hazardous waste storage area operations

• BS Engineering or Physical Sciences Degree
• At least 4 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related Basic understanding of safety engineering requirements for electrical, mechanical, chemical, and physical hazards
• Has basic knowledge of environmental, safety and industrial hygiene regulations and policies
• Ability to participate in a cross-functional team environment, effective analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Performance driven, with basic computer usage skills
