Position Summary:

The role shall be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective talents. Likewise, the role may be tapped to support in other HR initiative outside the area of focus.
This is for a fixed-term engagement of 11 months.

Key Responsibilities
:

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine applicant requirements by understanding and confirming job description and requirement qualifications;
  • Maintains relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved;
  • Reviews manpower requests versus approved budget and facilitates approval of such;
  • Attracts applicants through internal and external sources;
  • Maintains applicants database;
  • Builds applicants sources by exploring and contacting recruiters, online job portals, and continues implementation & improvement of the employee referral program;
  • Determines appropriate recruitment sources for advertising requirements;
  • Determines applicant qualifications through competency-based interviewing;
  • Drafts compensation package and handles negotiation with successful candidates;
  • Contributes in maintaining recruitment budget by managing cost per hire; and
  • Assist with other duties that may be asked of you, or assigned to you from time to time as required.

Pre-requisites:

  • Graduate of Business or any related four-year course
  • With at least five years' work experience in Talent Acquisition (preferably with experience in filling in Engineering roles)
