Job description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Purchasing Assistant to join our growing team.

The Purchasing Assistant will report directly to the Purchasing Manager and work closely to perform various administrative and clerical tasks, help in managing the company's supply of products and services, and assist in maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, outstanding negotiation skills and a strong knowledge of supply chain management.

The Purchasing Assistant should be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the smooth running of purchasing functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Process purchasing orders.
  • Check invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with delivery companies and suppliers.
  • Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.
  • Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role.
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Experience with vendor management software.
  • Knowledge of market research.
  • Solid organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well with a team.
  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or with background in Mechanical Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php22, Php25,000.00 per month
