Job Summary

The Activation & UAT Specialist plays a key role in ensuring seamless client onboarding, training, and account activation while conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to guarantee system readiness and compliance in a fast-paced fintech and EMI environment. This role bridges client-facing activation with internal system testing to deliver excellent customer experiences, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Basic Functions

  • Demonstrates strong 
    industry knowledge and subject matter expertise
     in fintech and electronic money institutions (EMI).
  • Delivers 
    client training and activation
     during onboarding, transitioning from sales to implementation.
  • Supports 
    UAT planning and execution
     to validate products and system updates.
  • Works efficiently in a 
    fast-paced environment
    , adapting to multiple areas with varying outcomes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Activation, Training & Account Management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand client needs and tailor activation strategies.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training programs for clients moving from sales to live operations.
  • Design and deliver effective training materials and product presentations aligned with business needs.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, account management, and post-sales support.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, address concerns, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to activation and training activities.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Participate in UAT planning, execution, and documentation for fintech/EMI systems and products.
  • Develop UAT scripts and test cases aligned with business requirements.
  • Work with IT, QA, and product teams to log, track, and resolve defects.
  • Validate system functionality, performance, and compliance before deployment.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve systems, processes, and client-facing features.

Customer Service & After-Sales Support

  • Respond promptly to client requests and provide effective solutions within SLAs.
  • Conduct field visits to support onboarding, training, and activation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated technical or service issues.
  • Maintain detailed reports of service calls, customer feedback, and process improvements.

Job Requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 
    2 years' experience
     in activation, implementation, training, UAT, or account management within the banking, finance, or fintech/EMI industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver client training materials.
  • Familiarity with UAT processes, test case design, and documentation.
  • Experience in client-facing roles with strong account management or customer service exposure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in business and training software tools; knowledge of UAT/test management tools is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in 
    Business, Management, Marketing, Education, Business Development, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
    .
  • Master's degree (MBA) is an advantage.
  • Technical or industry certifications are a plus.
