Job Description

As a Travel & Transport Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth and efficient travel arrangements for our internal workforce. Your responsibilities will include:

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate hotel reservations, flight bookings, and travel arrangements across regional and international locations.
  • Manage visa processing, including documentation, applications, and compliance with regional requirements.
  • Handle travel-related inquiries from associates via phone and email with professionalism and urgency.
  • Maintain comprehensive trackers, travel logs, and cost reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare and submit invoices and travel-related documentation in a timely and organized manner.
  • Work with airline routing and travel itineraries proactively to optimize schedules and costs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Sutherland's travel policies, while delivering an exceptional support experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and Finance teams for smooth end-to-end travel processes.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Utilize Amadeus, Sabre, or similar Global Distribution Systems (GDS) for flight reservations and modifications.
  • Work efficiently with Excel and other reporting tools to manage travel data and create trackers.

Qualifications

Must-Have (Non-Negotiable)

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the travel industry (corporate travel experience is a strong advantage).
  • Strong understanding of GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in handling flight, hotel, and visa processing end-to-end.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Customer-oriented, patient, and able to handle inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong email etiquette and ability to manage multiple communication channels.
  • High proficiency in Excel and maintaining accurate trackers.

Other Requirements

  • Minimum Degree/Diploma.
  • Willing to work in rotational shifts, 7-day working environment (with one scheduled compensatory day off).
  • Ability to work onsite in Manila.
