About the role

We are seeking a Rigger to join our team at PHIL. RIGID CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu. As a Rigger, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery and equipment on our construction sites. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of an ambitious and fast-paced organisation as we continue to grow our operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Safely and effectively operate a range of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, and other machinery
2. Determine the appropriate rigging equipment and configurations required for each lift
3. Ensure all loads are securely attached and balanced before lifting
4. Monitor the performance of lifting equipment and identify any maintenance or repair needs
5. Communicate with crane operators, site managers, and other team members to coordinate lifts

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Rigger in the construction industry
2. Comprehensive understanding of rigging techniques, load calculations, and equipment operation
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and load charts
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
5. Valid Rigger certification or willingness to obtain one
6. Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
