Head of Commercial & Investment Banking Branch Operations – Vice President Join to apply for the Head of Commercial & Investment Banking Branch Operations – Vice President role at JPMorgan Chase Job Description Digital & Platform Services (D&PS) integrates Operations, Technology, Digital, Data, and AI to empower the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB). We deliver capabilities, products, and services that drive the success of the CIB and the firm. As a Vice President within the Branch Operations team, you will lead the D&PS Operations team in Manila, supporting the Commercial & Investment Banking businesses.

Your responsibilities include managing a team of around 20 professionals across Payments, Markets, and Wholesale KYC Operations, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. You will formulate and implement strategic operational plans to improve efficiency, promote success, and ensure smooth operations. Building strong stakeholder relationships at all levels will be essential to align with business objectives.

Responsibilities Lead and coordinate Digital and Platform Services (D&PS) Operations across local, product, regional, and global groups, effectively bridging priorities. Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency, re-engineer processes, and reduce costs, supporting business targets. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements relevant to Operations.

Manage financial targets, including cost control, capacity planning, and budgeting, to support business growth and sustainability. Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams such as Technology, Sales, Product, Client Services, Finance, and Compliance. Review and approve Business Continuity Plans and oversee testing to ensure preparedness.

Interface with regulatory bodies during inspections and represent the organization in market forums. Participate in local and regional governance committees, ensuring proper oversight and risk management. Qualifications & Skills University degree in a relevant field.

At least 10 years of experience in Operations or Risk Management. Proven managerial and leadership skills, with experience leading sizable teams and driving change. Strong strategic thinking and execution skills.

Excellent influencing and negotiation skills to operate independently and liaise with senior partners and regulators. Extensive technical and regulatory knowledge, especially in Transaction Banking and Markets operations, with a focus on controls and analytics. Decisive problem-solving abilities and effective solution proposals.

Effective delegation, planning, and time management skills to meet deadlines. Adaptability to changing work structures, processes, or requirements. About
