Job Overview

A Time and Absence Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless deployment of time tracking solutions by architecting, configuring, and testing Workday applications to meet clients' specific needs.

The ideal candidate will foster the growth of other team members by sharing their expertise, supporting proposal preparations, delivering demonstrations to clients, and presenting at conferences.

This role offers a unique opportunity to excel as a subject matter expert in payroll and absence management, driving business success through effective solution implementation and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-depth expertise in Workday's payroll product suite, with a strong focus on absence and time tracking capabilities.
  • Lead project teams or coach others to successfully gather and document client requirements, design and configure Workday solutions, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Collaborate with data conversion teams to help convert legacy data into Workday, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
  • Assist integration consulting teams in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new team members, serving as a professional role model and coach for product knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively, collaborate synergistically, and work closely with team members to address complex tasks and requirements.
  • Facilitate clients' adoption of Workday best practices, maintaining their ongoing satisfaction and ensuring Intecrowd is a referenceable partner.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers, keeping them informed of overall project progress.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Workday Time Tracking Certification
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in configuring and implementing payroll, absence, and time tracking solutions
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a software company
  • Experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Functional experience in payroll, absence, and/or time tracking
  • Excellent communication and business analysis skills
  • Ability to learn technology quickly and adapt to new challenges
