Job Summary

The Inventory Optimization Specialist oversees the strategic planning, execution, and enhancement of inventory processes across client accounts.

  • Utilize data analysis to forecast demand and optimize replenishment strategies.
  • Monitor and improve inventory health by identifying critical levels, overstocking, and out-of-stock risks.
  • Coordinate inventory plans with marketing campaigns, promotions, and client seasonal fluctuations.
  • Suggest inventory actions such as reorders, markdowns, or product push for slow-moving items.
  • Manage the inbound PO calendar and ensure supply planning accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for key inventory metrics.
  • Collaborate with clients, sales, and logistics teams to align inventory objectives with operational targets.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or demand forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with e-commerce and/or third-party logistics operations is beneficial.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
