Full Stack WordPress Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack WordPress Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled developer with strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and creative flair.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and customising WordPress sites, creating engaging user experiences, and ensuring seamless integration with our digital ecosystem. They will also be responsible for designing user flows, wireframes, and mockups for new WordPress website features and enhancements.

This role involves working on a wide range of tasks including:

  • Building custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Designing responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centred design across platforms
  • Implementing SEO best practices to maximise site visibility and performance
  • Understanding WordPress architecture, PHP, and MySQL; managing hosting environments, deployments, and database optimisation
  • Integrating WordPress with third-party tools (e.g. CRM, analytics, lead generation platforms)
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting website performance, security, and technical issues

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years' professional experience as a WordPress developer
  • Demonstrated ability to build and customise WordPress themes and plugins
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Experience managing WordPress CMS environments, including hosting, security, and updates
