As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

  • Create test strategies, test plans, and test scripts for automated and manual testing.
  • Develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks.
  • Contribute to implementing repeatable automated tests during sprints to ensure quality, reduce test execution time, and incorporate automated tests into CI/CD processes.
  • Plan resource needs for each sprint and product release.
  • Work in a dedicated squad team and help drive product excellence.
  • Ensure all assigned testing deliverables are met within the sprint and product release.
  • Communicate test results to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with business users, analysts, and engineers to resolve assigned defects.
  • Maintain awareness of external trends in testing to improve processes and assets.
  • Promote productivity through test automation tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Coach and train other team members on manual and automated testing.
  • Adapt new ways of working and find ways to continually improve.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of software testing experience.
  • At least 3 years of automation testing experience.
  • Experience in both manual and automated testing, including planning, test case design, test reporting, defect tracking, estimating, and test coverage.
  • Experience working with external parties and vendors.
  • Demonstrated capability to learn and understand a business and its processes and systems in depth.
  • Experience working with Selenium, Java, Maven, and Postman.
  • Demonstrated skills with REST and SOAP web services and API testing.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines and parallel test execution.
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and windows applications.
  • Ability to work across multiple products/platforms/squads.
