Billing Operations Analyst Position Overview

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing transactions related to services, which includes checking invoices, managing rate plans, and corresponding with clients. Work within the company's billing operations, focusing on revenue intake and handling customer inquiries related to billing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing invoices, ensuring correct charges, and verifying data against rate plans and customer usage.
  • Overseeing the billing subsystem, including generating invoices and handling customer inquiries related to billing issues.
  • Preparing and executing bill runs, generating invoices for a large number of customers, often on a recurring basis (monthly, quarterly, etc.).
  • Analyzing billing data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement in billing processes.
  • Keeping updated records: Ensuring clients' billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
  • Potentially corresponding with clients regarding billing inquiries or issues via case management, and AM/SDMs inquiries.
  • Generating billing reports, analyzing data, and identifying trends or areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant billing regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Billing Analyst or similar accounting role.
  • Sound knowledge of telecom industry and electronic billing procedures.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Commitment to teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles.
