Job Description

The Building Design Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of construction projects by overseeing design works, collaborating with contractors and officials, and guaranteeing that designs meet company policies and standards.

This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to resolve design problems quickly, confirm design alterations, and advise on restoration and conservation of old properties. The Building Design Specialist must be able to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring that structures meet all applicable laws and regulations on construction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and construction specialists on site to oversee projects from initiation to completion.
  • Ensuring designs comply with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and resolving design problems promptly and implementing approved design alterations to existing structures.
  • Advising on restoration and conservation of old properties.
  • Ensuring on-site work conforms to applicable laws, codes, and regulations on construction.
Education Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.

A professional license (passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Architecture or equivalent is also required.

Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a Supervisor/Experienced Employee specialized in Architecture.

Experience in AutoCAD & SketchApp Technology is also highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well with all levels of the organization are essential.

Work Location

The candidate must be willing to be assigned in SM City Clark.
