Job Title

A highly skilled and experienced professional in UK year-end accounts preparation is sought after to support a UK-based accounting firm. This role involves preparing financial statements in compliance with FRS 102 1A and utilizing expertise in TaxCalc and Xero.

About the Role

This key position requires an individual with strong attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines independently, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing UK year-end accounts, a solid understanding of balance sheet concepts, and proficiency in TaxCalc and Xero.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely year-end accounts for UK-based clients in accordance with FRS 102 1A
  • Draft and review financial disclosures and statutory reports
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts including deferred income and accruals
  • Work collaboratively with the internal team and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Utilize TaxCalc and Xero to prepare and submit financial information
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in UK year-end accounts preparation
  • Strong understanding of FRS 102 1A and balance sheet concepts
  • Proficiency in TaxCalc and Xero
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
