We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Credit Management Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and managing credit balances on patient accounts, investigating discrepancies, and resolving issues with insurance providers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Credit Balance Resolution: Identify and resolve credit balance discrepancies on patient accounts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with patients, insurance providers, and internal departments to resolve billing issues related to credit balances.
  • Refund Processing: Process and issue refunds for overpaid amounts on patient accounts as required.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation and records of credit balance issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
  • Aging Credit Balances: Monitor aging credit balances and take appropriate action to resolve outstanding credits in a timely manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with insurance company policies, healthcare billing standards, and regulations when managing credit balances.
  • Patient Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries regarding credit balances and explaining billing processes.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in the development and improvement of credit balance management processes and workflows.
