Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist

The primary role of a Business Intelligence Reporting Specialist is to develop and maintain reports that provide insights into business performance. This involves analyzing data from various sources, creating visualizations, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop ad hoc analyses or reports on business performance.
  • Capture high-level and detailed requirements through interviews with other departments.
  • Provide support to users in finding the right information within the Business Intelligence reporting infrastructure.
  • Develop new and update existing reports to meet evolving business needs.
  • Drive the standardization of data metrics by leveraging data- and business process knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper definition of requirements.
  • Determine opportunities for automation using different technologies.
  • Learn and develop new processes to improve reporting tools and systems.
  • Manage and maintain Service Level Agreements with third-party companies.
Requirements
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related quantitative field.
  • Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL skills.
  • Python programming language a plus.
  • Experience:
  • With a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in data analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Detail-oriented and proven project management skills.
  • Open to flexible arrangements during campaign/peak seasons.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to succeed in this position.

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and prior experience in data analysis are required. Advanced technical skills in Excel, SQL, and Python are also necessary. Detail-oriented individuals with strong project management skills will thrive in this role.
