Loan Application Assistant

As a skilled loan application assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the mortgage broker throughout the loan process. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations and success in every endeavor.

The job involves assisting the brokers at all stages of the loan process, from initial contact through to settlement. You will be responsible for preparing loan comparisons, gathering client information, and liaising with the client directly. Your attention to detail and accuracy will ensure that all supporting documentation is accurate and meets bank requirements.

  • Supporting the Broker throughout the loan application process.
  • Assisting the brokers at all stages of the loan process, from first contact through to settlement.
  • Preparing loan comparisons.
  • Gathering client information and liaising with the client directly.
  • Requesting all client information and ensuring data entry requirements are accurate.
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position based on clients' objectives and situations.
  • Researching lender policies.
  • Preparing loan applications and ensuring data entry requirements are accurate.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting.
  • Taking ownership of compliance-related matters, ensuring all documentation and data is captured in the CRM system.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry.
  • Experience with aggregator CRM software and applyonline/simpology (loanapp) lodgment systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented.
