At Northern Trust, we are seeking a skilled professional to support our Risk & Resiliency activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive business experience and multi-disciplinary functional expertise focused on proactive risk management.

This role is responsible for the production of periodic and ad-hoc Management Information around Risk & Resiliency to support department Objectives & Key Results. This includes identifying key risks and developing internal and external networking opportunities related to COO activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the production of Management Information around Risk & Resiliency to support department Objectives & Key Results.
  • Develop internal and external networking opportunities related to COO activities.
  • Create and maintain working relationships with other departments globally, particularly Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT.
  • Complete issues/trend analysis with review by the Manager.
  • Review business changes and recommend initial impact assessments to determine the relevant SME team across Risk & Resiliency to engage.
  • Support the rollout of department and business training and communication plans.
  • Demonstrate understanding of data analytics and related tools, including Power BI, Fusion, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Requirements
  • College or University degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of Risk & Control experience is helpful.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
