Overview

Consultant Data, Metrics, and Analytics at Northern Trust. This role supports risk, resiliency, and data analytics activities within the department, contributing to management information production and the identification of key risks.

Responsibilities
  • Support the production of periodic and ad-hoc Management Information around Risk & Resiliency to support department Objectives & Key Results and identification of key risks.
  • Develop internal and external networking opportunities related to COO activities.
  • Create and maintain working relationships with other departments globally, particularly Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT.
  • Complete issues/trend analysis with review by the Manager.
  • Review business changes and recommend initial impact assessments to determine the relevant SME team across Risk & Resiliency to engage, with support from senior team members.
  • Support the rollout of the department and business training and communication plans with support from senior team members.
  • Demonstrate understanding of data analytics and related tools, including Power BI, Fusion, and the Microsoft Power Platform (Apps and Automate).
Knowledge
  • Professional with extensive business experience and multi-disciplinary functional experience focused on proactive activities within the group.
  • Knowledge of the firm and industry.
Experience
  • College or University degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of Risk & Control experience is helpful.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
