The role of an Insurance Processor involves processing and managing insurance policy applications, endorsements, renewals, certificates, and cancellations. This position demands a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process new insurance policy applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Handle endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in a timely manner.
  • Review policy applications for compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Documentation Management:
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and policy records.
  • Ensure all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored.
  • Generate and distribute policy documents to clients and relevant parties.
Data Entry and Verification:
  • Enter policy information into the insurance management system accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
  • Update and maintain client and policy information in the database.
Customer Support:
  • Assist clients with inquiries related to policy status, coverage details, and billing.
  • Provide support to the customer service team by supplying necessary policy information.
  • Communicate with clients, agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure all processing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on policy processing activities and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and industry trends.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with insurance software such as Applied EPIC, AMS 360, EZ Lynx, and CRM systems.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

This job offers a 100% remote work opportunity with competitive hourly rates starting at $5/hour and increasing to $6/hour upon successful placement with an agency. A dual-monitor setup is required, and Windows OS is the only accepted operating system.
